MilkShake and MilkShake Recipe

Milkshake is a milk that mixed with some other beverage in it. Milkshake is cold beverage which is usually made from milk milk, ice cream or iced milk, and other flavoring or sweeteners such as fruit syrup or chocolate sauce to add the taste to this mixture.

Many restaurant also have their own formula of this mix to make as beverage as distinguishing features. Some of recipes of this milkshake are as follows:

Classic Jello Milkshake
1 cup milk
1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jello, any flavor
1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened

Place milk and ice cream in blender. Add Jello. Blend 30 seconds.

Eggnog Milkshake
1 cup eggnog
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 scoop vanilla ice cream

In blender combine first 3 ingredients and mix until frothy. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Purple Cow Milkshake
1/3 cup frozen grape juice concentrate, thawed
1 banana, peeled and sliced
1 cup milk
1/2 cup ice cubes

In a blender container combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth.

Pumpkin Pie Milkshake
4 oz. canned pumpkin, chilled
1-1/2 cups cold low fat milk
8 teaspoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth. Top with a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg.

Chocolate Cherry Milkshake
4 scoops vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
3/4 cup cold milk
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
3 maraschino cherries, stems removed
Whipped topping & additional cherry

Place ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup and cherries in blender. Blend until smooth. Garnish with whipped topping and cherry.
